Roles & Responsibility

•         Design and build code across several new and existing software projects.

•         Ensure all code developed conforms to the Software Development Life Cycle SOP and Coding Standards.

•         Ensure all code produced is performant and tested prior to being handed for peer review.

•         Implement major features with limited guidance from leads and managers.

•         Be a technical expert, mentor junior developers and share your expertise with other software engineers to strengthen our team.

•         In addition to new projects, be willing to add new features and refactor parts of established projects

•         Provide accurate timing estimates on work.

Skills Required:

•         Review all functional business applications and specifications.

•         4+ years of Hands-on experience in Design and build scalable DataStage solutions

•         Sound knowledge in Shell scripting.

•         Should be able to handle a team of 3-5 members.

•         Sound knowledge on different stages like Transformer, Join, Look up, Connectors, Sequencers.

•         Experience in Data mapping and Data modeling skills.

•         Must have good experience with performance tuning and debugging.

•         Good knowledge of SQL, IBM DB2, Netezza.

•         Document the High-level designs and Low-level designs.

•         Experience working with high volume data, large objects, complex data transformations.

•         Good understanding of data modelling for data warehouse and data marts.

•         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•         Ability to learn, contribute and grow in a fast phased environment.

•         Able to work independently.

•         Willing to learn new technologies for driving the project.

•         Ability to communicate with both Technical team & External/Internal Stakeholders.

Good to Have

•         Experience using Jira and ServiceNow in project environments.

•         Experience in implementing Datawarehouse and ETL solutions.

•         Knowledge on cloud-based technologies.
