Roles & Responsibility

•         Experience in Create and execute strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL components based on mapping artifacts

•         Data mining and detailed data analysis on data warehousing systems

•         Hands on experience in relational databases and database architecture

•         Expert in Database testing with excellent PL SQL skills and queries

•         Strong in formulating SQL queries for validation of data

•         Strong knowledge on Data Warehouse and testing concepts

•         Experience validating data mapping, selection criteria, aggregations, sorting, lookups, transformations, data loads

•         Good knowledge in SQL Concepts and analyzing Store procedures

•         Good communication

Skills Required:

•         6+ years of Data testing experience

•         Responsible for overall testing of all the ETL and data solutions built over on-premises as well as cloud environment (Azure). This includes understanding the requirements, creating test cases/test plans, executing test cases, reporting bugs, working with developers on resolutions of issues and re-testing the bugs for closure

•         Create and maintain the QA reports for bugs reported and overall quality status Works with Production Operations to improve

•         Very strong scripting (python, Unix etc.) background to automate performance qualifications

•         Strong T-SQL programming skills or with any other flavor of SQL

•         Experience working with high volume data, large objects, complex data transformations

•         Good understanding of data modelling for data warehouse and data marts

•         Should have experience on Big data components like HIVE, Sqoop, HDFS, Spark

•         Strong verbal and written communication skills

•         Ability to learn, contribute and grow in a fast phased environment

•         Should be able to drive 3-4 QA team members team.

Good to Have

•         Experience in Data engineering projects using Microsoft Azure platform

•         Understanding data engineering solutions using Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure ADLS Gen2, Blob storage, Azure Synapse analytics

•         Experience using Jira and ServiceNow in project environments
