Roles and Responsibility

 

Mandatory Skill set:

 

1.         3-5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, API (REST Assured, SoapUI, HttpClient, Postman)

2.         Experience automating integration tests for RESTful APIs using REST-assured

3.         Experience working with JSON and XML

4.         Experience automating tests using java

5.         Strong knowledge of object oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills

6.         A firm grasp of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures and multi threading concepts

7.         Experience using version control (Git), defect tracking systems (JIRA)

8.         Experience with BDD automation frameworks (Cucumber)

9.         Knowledge about any relational database (Mysql, Oracle etc) and should be able to frame and execute queries

10.         Experience working within a Microservice environment

11.         Understands how multi Tier Architecture application works and how to perform api testing in such environment

12.         A passion for quality assurance

13.         Drive and capacity to learn new processes and technologies

14.         Possess strong teamwork and collaborative skills

15.         Good Written and verbal communication skills

 

Preference:

1.         Experience with native mobile app testing

2.         Experience with conducting testing with third party systems

3.         Experience with load and performance testing

4.         Working knowledge on Azure

5.         Banking domain knowledge .
